Brazil Sitio Roseira (Natural)
Single Origin Coffee Bean
Story of the Farm
The Roseira Farm is nestled in the municipality of Lambari, which lies on the south of Minas Gerais state, in the Serra da Mantiqueira region. This region holds the Perpetual Indication Seal, granted by the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI), which guarantees the origin of the coffee. At 1200 MASL< the farm enjoys the ideal climate and terrain for cultivating exquisite specialty coffees.
The producers, Leda and Jose have dedicated over two decades to growing exceptional and sustainable coffees. Through meticulous handpicking, the ripe cherries are carefully harvested to avoid ground contact. These cherries then are dried in the sun on concrete patios, stirred frequently until reaching the ideal moisture content. This meticulous process imparts a rich and fruity flavour to the coffee beans and adds to the body of the coffee.
