What Makes This Bean Special?

This is one of our favorite single-origin beans, and its unique processing method is what sets it apart. After natural processing, the beans are aged for over a month in white oak rum barrels. We truly admire the producers’ innovation and dedication because it takes a lot of effort to ensure each bean is infused with the rum’s essence. The barrels need consistent checking and rotation throughout the process. The result? A one-of-a-kind tasting profile with bold, boozy aromas and flavors from the rum infusion.

Altitude: 1350-1500 masl

Processing Method: Natural, then aged for over a month in locally sourced Colombia White Oak Rum Barrels from the award-winning Ron Viejo De Caldas distillery.

Cultivar: Castillo and Cencicafe 1
